ADAPT-r Exhibition

Adapt-r Exhibition

Project Team: Curators: Prof Katherine Heron and Dr Maria Veltcheva Support team: Cecilia De Marinis, Dorotea Ottaviani, Alice Buoli
Year: 2016
Place: Ambika P3, University of Westminster, London (UK).

The exhibition presented the outcomes of the research project ADAPT-r (Architecture Design and Art Practice Training-research) (LINK). A major European exhibition that explored the research processes of working artists architects and designers revealing their diverse approaches to the practice.

The exhibition covered all the aspects of the ADAPT-r project: one the one side the individuals’ work and personal findings, on the other the meta-level perspective of the research on the community and the collective processes through a sequence of steps.

The Rooms presented the collective sequence, the Library included the books and findings of the research, and the Garden was the place for the events, performances, and discussions.

Our contribution to the exhibition related to the design of The Rooms section. We collaborated with curators Katherine Heron and Maria Veltcheva to translating the sequence of steps in the practice-based journey into a spatial and experiential journey of storytelling through walls, windows, images, videos, and words.
