Exquisite Corpse Exhibition

Project Team: Cecilia De Marinis
Year: 2019
Place: A+B Gallery, School of Architecture and Built Environment, Deakin University, Geelong, AU.
Category: Exhibition curation

The exhibition showcased student outcomes from the Architectural Design Master Studio: The Exquisite Corpse run at the School of Architecture and Built Environment in 2019.

Each student was invited to rethink and design a “section” of Melbourne CBD and all the interventions combined together created a puzzle of the entire city centre. The Studio applied the creative technique of the exquisite Corpse to generate an assemblage of images of the city in sequence.

The exhibition showcased the best outcomes of the design studio collected together to produce a new and unexpected image of Melbourne CND where playfulness, diversity and boldness contribute to an overwhelming and rhythmic vision for the future of Melbourne CBD.
